When Mom says no, ask Dad?

Mom and dad need to discuss this and start using the, have you already asked mom/dad thing? Mom and dads sometimes aren't aware of the others decisions so either mom or dad need to communicate a bit more going forward. I don't know if dad intentional gave in after already knowing, if so. That's a whole different issue that the two of you need to deal with.
