Is he really my friend?

So me and this guy have been best friends for the past 9 years, but lately, he hasnt been acting like much of a best friend, or friend in general. Once, we both went to different parties that ended up to be at teh same place at the same time, and when i came up to him to talk, his friends inturupted me and said "Who is she?!" and then he replied, "idk, ive nvr seen her b4 in my life" and walked away. now hes been avoiding my parties by makin up lame excuses and screamin at my ovr little things. sood i take this as he doesnt want to be friends anymore?
