CRONIC PAIN MANAGEMENT *UN-CONTROLLED*?

after a car accident in 1998, I have been on an ever rising dose of extremely potent opioid pain medication--- MY daily dose is: 600mg MS (po)... 300mcg/hr Fentanyl (transdermal),....2200mcg Fentanyl -Actiq (bucc) --for breakthrough AS WELL AS either Dilaudid HP 12mgx4 (im) --or 15-20mg Stadol (im)...I hate having to use THIS many diff.meds to "just barely" control the pain... my dr says that this is as good as he can do..... I'm asking for another opinion as to a diff combo or ?
