What should i do..? Take a risk in resigning or pay in lieu & serve less notice period?

Aaaaahhhhhh... I'm in dilemma... Or not sure whatshould i do..? Can anyone share your opinions..I just called NYP, hey say DAE results will only be out on end of March/early April. But currently I'm working n my company would require me to give in one mth notice if i were to resign. If resign less than that, have to pay one mth's pay.. Sch term starts 16 april.. So how..? Help me!!!
