Should we get married?

I would say never marry anyone who has hit you not even once. That is only going to escalate. I don't see it getting better just b/c you have a paper with his last name. Get help for both of you, attend church group meetings for couples, counseling, anger management. Work on the relationship before marriage. Divorces are expensive. And why put a child through a life of fighting. It's cruel.
