How to get to germany cheaply from england?

i want to go to germany to wacken festival which is near hamburg at the end of july- i then want to spend a week in berlin. anyone know the cheapest way to get from hull(england) to hamburg and back again from berlin? i dont mind using airports that are quite far away or the train?
