Got a real paranormal scary/spooky story? Please tell!! Even if you heard it from someone else...?

First off I'm scared of ghost. They just freak me out. So one night, something woke me up and I walk out into the hall which lead to the stairs. I see at the top of the stairs a person just standing there. I saw her from the side and could make out a head, torso, and thighs but no feet. She was wearing a nightgown and appeared to be staring downstairs. After a few seconds, she slowly turned her head towards me and I could see her eyes, but I could also see right through her! I backed up and closed my eyes. When I opened them, she was gone. Freak me out!!
