So is the U.S. losing its lock on technology?

the canadian govt. stopped the sale of the aerospace co. to the us. we get to keep the jobs and technology here.in the 1950 s canada had the most advanced fighter plane in the world the avro arrow , when the conservative govt. decided to scrap plans to produce it about 50 top aircraft people went to the us. canadian are still pissed over that.
